Listen to English and Succeed

The key that children use to learn a language is listening, they never worry about learning grammar rules, they don’t even know how to read, but when they start speaking, children end up speaking perfectly.

So if we see the great results that children get when they learn to speak any language, why don’t we use their method? We must use our brains in a natural way, if we really want to learn how to speak English fluently and effectively, we have to do what children do, and that is LISTENING.

Don’t waste your time trying to learn boring grammar rules that are just going to make you slow when you speak and they’re not even going to give you an accent.

CHILDREN HAVE THE BEST WAY TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH … SO LET’S DO WHAT THEY DO!

Today, I have brought a recommendation to you, so you really can have a “schedule” for your English learning, but be flexible, do not use this method when you feel stressed about English; just make sure you enjoy your English learning:
  •  Download any mp3 recording: an article, magazine or conversation you can listen to.
  •  Listen to this for one or two weeks:  Remember not worry about time just do this until you understand 100% of what you are listening to.
  • If you don’t understand words or sentences: Try to look for a written guide of what you are listening to, look up the words on a dictionary and return to listening, do not focus too much on written stuff, focus on listening.
  • Be patience: keep doing this everyday and depending on your effort you could be a fluent English speaker in six months or less.

If you follow this method, I assure you: you are going to end up speaking English fluently, it has worked for me, this is what I have done and I have gotten awesome results.

In today's article, I told you to download interesting mp3 files so you could focus on listening. On this point I want to recommend two web sites to you: Effortless English and Learn Real English, I really love this two web sites, actually I consider the founder of Effortless English, AJ Hoge, my teacher. He has many interesting ideas about learning; this is a really nice video he made about listening:

REMEMBER: FOCUS ON LISTENING AND YOU WILL SUCCEED ON YOUR ENGLISH LEARNING.
